Part #SYGE (shown) for Gas/Electric units

Part #SYHPA for Heat Pumps (larger heat pumps may use gas/electric inputs. They require a gas/electric SYGE controller).

The controller is capable of controlling from two to seven individual zones. The System Controller communicates with the Zone Dampers and Zone Thermostats via a patented Five-Wire Link. The Five-Wire Link is daisy chained from damper to damper using standard five-conductor thermostat wire. The System Controller polls every zone and registers the thermostats calling for heating or cooling. The System Controller then runs the HVAC unit in the mode it is selected to run and sends the signal to close dampers not calling for conditioned air.
